Our Mission in Waukegan, IL

Our mission is to proudly display the Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. guiding principle of achievement through community-based services, while continuing our emphasis on Brotherhood. Working together to meet specific community needs through mentorship, assistance to at risk youth, teaching financial literacy, providing meals, and promoting scholarship.

WAUKEGAN ALUMNI CHAPTER ACHIEVEMENT ON DISPLAY

PRESIDENT/CEO LAKE COUNTY FOREST PRESERVES

Brother Angelo Kyle is the first African American to become President and CEO of the Lake County Illinois Forest Preserves, the second largest forest preserve district in Illinois. He is responsible for 31,000 acres of natural land, 300 employees, and a budget of over $112M.
